Update: This happened twice, first time dell replaced mobo and it broke within 2 days.. next time the screen, mobo and the little control panel with multimedia keys (how can that affect anything???) were replaced...\nHours of phone calls to dell\'s \"great\" support outsourced to india.. \nAnyway, nobody knew what was wrong with it so they replaced almost everything except hdd and the casing. I\'d guess that the fault is down to overheating.. When tech guy comes to fix yours, make sure that he puts some more cooling gel between the heat sink an processor.. It has to be renewed if the heat sink has been taken off. \nGlad to have 3yr warranty... would have been screwed otherwise\n///\nColoured stripes appear on bootup. Captured by iphone
